Hello!
My name is Jordyn and I am the owner of The Stevie Studio. I make dog collars, cat collars, p
et bow ties, and pet bandanas. I’ve loved animals ever since I can remember. When I was little,
I would always try to bring home stray cats or lost puppies. Not only do I have a passion for
animals but also fashion! I love trying new trends and putting pieces and patterns together.

When the idea of owning an Etsy shop came up I wasn’t sure what I wanted to make
and sell. How could I combine two of the things that mean the most to me? This is how I
started making pet collars.
started making pet collars.
My mom taught me how to sew and helped me make my first collar. I picked it up fast even
though there were definitely rough moments: Buckles put on upside down, stitching that
wasn’t straight, bow ties that looked, well, not like bow ties. However, every time I went to the
fabric store my eyes would light up. I loved all the colors and patterns. The possible combinations were endless!

One of my favorite things about making dog collars is the customers… both furry and not. I’ve
made dog collars and bow ties for pet’s birthdays, their human’s wedding, and pregnancy
announcements. It is an amazing feeling to be a part of my customer’s special moments. I love
seeing the pets wearing their new accessories and being able to show them off on The Stevie Studio’s Facebook page.
The Stevie Studio would not be what it has grown to be without my main inspiration- Stevie.
My little, furry Pomeranian, Stevie, has been there through it all. She sits in the corner on her
Princess Bed and waits for me to cut, iron, and sew each collar or bow tie. After that, she
patiently waits while I dress her up and take her picture.
She knows the drill now: Let Mom take some pictures. Get treats.
